Victims In Wednesday Fatal Crash Identified

The four victims in a crash on Interstate 70 westbound at St. Charles Road yesterday [Wednesday] afternoon have been identified.

The Highway Patrol has released the preliminary crash report saying a Freightliner driven by Otto Kramer III of Ohio struck the back of 2 stopped cars driven by 63 year old Cindy Spradlin of Auxvasse and 44 year old Jennifer Temple of Columbia.

Spradlin’s car was pushed into a 2016 freightliner, while Temple’s vehicle hit 30 year old David Whitehead of Mississippi, whose vehicle struck 42 year old Edmond Squires of Hazelwood.

The Highway Patrol says Spradlin and Kramer were transported to University Hospital and later died.

A passenger in Spradlin’s vehicle, 60 year old Vicky Moore of Auxvasse, and Temple were pronounced dead at the scene.
