High Speed Chase and Crash Ends In Cole County

A high speed chase yesterday (Thursday) afternoon ends in Cole County with a crash.

The Jefferson City Police Department were called in to help the Moniteau County Sheriff’s department to stop a vehicle for failing to yield for multiple hazardous driving complaints.

The chase entered Cole County where the suspects vehicle side swiped another motorist on Highway 50 causing it to crash onto Missouri Boulevard.

The driver of that vehicle was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The suspect vehicle eventually crashed into a grass embankment separating Missouri Boulevard and Highway 50.

The driver was arrested and charge are pending.
