Half Cent Sales Tax Renewal on Mexico April Ballot

Mexico voters will be asked to renew a 1/2 cent capital improvement sales tax on the April ballot.

Mexico City Manager Bruce Slagle says the city has had this tax over the last 30 years.

The money is used for capital improvement projects and mostly street repairs.

The question will appear on the ballot Tuesday, April 2nd.
