Missouri Bill On Inmate Organ Donation Proposed

A new bill is being proposed in the Missouri that would give death row inmates the option of organ donation.

Representative Jim Neely, a Republican from Cameron proposed the bill earlier this week.

The bill would require lethal injections to be administered in a way that would not affect the inmates’ organs.

If passed the bill would go into effect in August.

Missouri is not currently required to offer alternative methods for execution.
