Columbia Police Stolen Car Pursuit

A Columbia man is in the Boone County Jail facing multiple charges after taking police on a chase yesterday (Sunday) afternoon in a stolen vehicle.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office deputies tried to stop the stolen vehicle driven by 34 year old Ryan Gambill yesterday (Sunday) afternoon around 2:50 and a pursuit began around Columbia.

A tire deflation device was used to end the pursuit on Oakland Church Road near Route B.

Police say they arrested Gambill and found credit devices and forged documents in the vehicle along with an imitation controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
