Fewer Cases of Flu Reported In Missouri This Year

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is seeing fewer flu cases reported in Missouri this year when compared to last year.

According to the CDC seventy four thousand less cases have been reported when compared to the same time last year.

According to some health officials one of the main reasons is due to the effectiveness of this year’s vaccine.

A total of 19,015 cases of the flu have been reported in Missouri so far this season.
