Boone County Sheriff’s Department Searching For Shooting Suspect

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department is searching for a suspect connected to a shooting last (Tuesday) night.

According to the department officers were sent to North Highway W around 10:20, and before deputies got there, a man arrived at the sheriff’s department headquarters with gunshot wounds.

The man told deputies he was involved in the encounter.

The injuries were minor, and the man said a car involved in the incident was a gold or tan SUV.

Anyone with information on the car is asked to call the Boone County Sheriff’s Department.
