Woman Injured In Shooting on Demaret Drive in Columbia

The Boone County Sheriff’s Department is looking into a shooting reported at Demaret Drive early this (Wednesday) morning.

It happened around 4 this (Wednesday) morning in the 800 block of Demaret Drive where an 18 year old woman was wounded.

The woman was taken by private vehicle to a local hospital.

The investigation is continuing and no other information is available at this time.
