Semi-Truck Hauling Oranges Delays I-70 Traffic

Drivers on eastbound I-70 may have experienced some delays this morning [Monday] as crews continued to clear the site of a semi-truck crash last night. [Sunday]

The 35 year old driver of the truck hauling pallets of oranges struck a MoDOT truck around 9:30 at mile marker 113.

The driver of the semi was taken by ambulance to University Hospital.

The MoDOT vehicle received extensive damage, but the driver was uninjured.
