Man In Moberly Arrested After Taking Police On A Chase

A man in Moberly wanted for active warrants is in the Randolph County Justice Center after taking police on a chase last (Monday) night.

According to the Moberly Police Department an officer tried to make contact with Tony Howell who was riding a bike in the 400 block of East Burkart Street.

Officers say Howell refused to stop and tried to get away on the bike.

Howell went through several yards towards Rollins Street on foot after discarding the bike.

He was eventually arrested, and was wanted for a Felony Probation Violation, Felony Failure to Register as a Sex Offender and several other charges.
