Six Displaced In Jefferson City House Fire

Five adults and one child are currently without home after a fire in Jefferson City this (Wednesday) morning.

It happened just after 6:30, at house in the 800 block of Washington Street.

Jefferson City Firefighters found the blaze in a corner bedroom.

All of the residents were able to get out safely.

The cause was determined to be electrical in nature, and twenty thousand dollars in damages are estimated.
