Missouri River Expected To Rise Again This Week

The Missouri River is expected to rise again this week.

As of yesterday (Sunday) the National Weather Service reports the river was at 26.87 feet.

By Wednesday with current weather forecasts the river will crest at 31.5 feet in Jefferson City.

Several areas will be impacted with flooding including most of the northern part of Jefferson City, the ice arena parking lot and most of the Jefferson City Memorial Airport, Missouri Boulevard near West McCarty Street, West Miller Street at Broadway and the Majority of Lot 25 near West Miller and Washington Streets.
