Jefferson City Man With Serious Injuries After Being Shot

A 25 year old man is recovering from serious injuries after being shot in Jefferson City last (Monday) night and authorities are still searching for a suspect.

According to the Jefferson City Police Department it happened around 10:44 in the 1300 block of Monroe Street.

The man who was shot was taken to the hospital for treatment.

According to witnesses a disturbance was heard moments before the shooting and an unknown man was seen running from the area.

Officers say they canvassed the area however were unable to find the suspect.
