Jefferson City Airport Reopened
The Jefferson City Airport is back open after being closed for 51 days due to flooding from the Missouri River.
The airport reopened on Wednesday afternoon and officials say the runway lights are out and the air traffic control tower is down, so only daytime flights are scheduled at this time.
Airport officials in Jefferson City are now working with the Columbia Regional Airport’s team to get things back to its normal condition before the floods.
