Sturgeon Man Charged in Fatal Crash In Indianapolis

A Sturgeon man is facing charges of that include reckless homicide after a fatal, fiery crash on an Indianapolis freeway over the weekend.

According to Indiana State Police the crash yesterday (Sunday) after a semi tractor-trailer hit the back of a line of vehicles backed-up in traffic due to construction.

The first car hit caught fire.

Police say 29 year old Alanna Norman Koons and her daughters, June and Ruby Koon, of Indianapolis died in that vehicle.

57 year old Bruce Pollard of Sturgeon was speeding according to police.

Seven others were hospitalized in the crash.
