Man and Woman Arrested During Moberly Traffic Stop

A man and woman are facing charges after a traffic stop in Moberly on Friday night.

According to police a stop was made near Hagood Street and Franklin Street after the driver was recognized by an officer.

John Hunt was arrested for his existing Parole Absconder warrant.

During the stop police say a search of the vehicle turned up bags of drug paraphernalia and methamphetamine that belong to Elizabeth Shepherd.

She was also arrested and charges were filed with the Randolph County Prosecutors Office.
