Several Missouri Lawmakers Responding On Twitter About Mass Shootings in Ohio and Texas

Several Missouri lawmakers are sending out their prayers on social media to the victims and families where more than 25 people were killed in 2 separate mass shootings over the weekend.

Governor Mike Parson tweeted on Saturday, “Our hearts break for the victims’ families in the wake of the El Paso tragedy.

A gunman walked into a Walmart in El Paso, Texas and started shooting killing 20 people and wounding dozens.

Less than 24 hours later, another shooter terrorized Dayton, Ohio.

At least 9 people were killed and 27 other wounded in a shooting outside of a bar.

Parson again tweeted his condolences.

Representative Emanuel Cleaver also tweeted saying “30 people woke up yesterday that will never get the chance to see another day. And 30 more could be gone tomorrow if we fail to do something to end this hateful madness.”
