Twenty Thousand Dollars In Damage After Jefferson City House Fire
Seven people displaced after a house fire in Jefferson City overnight.
According to the Jefferson City Fire Department it happened at a one story house in the 900 block of Monroe Street around 2:13 this (Friday) morning.
All of the residents of the house and the three pets were uninjured.
The fire started from the kitchen and caused about twenty thousand dollars in damages according to fire officials.
The American Red Cross is assisting with temporary housing.
