Howard County Homicide Investigation

A homicide investigation is underway in Howard County after a person was found in his vehicle yesterday, who they believe died from a gunshot wound.

According to the Howard County Sheriff they received a call from someone reporting the shooting at a home at the intersection of West Hackberry and Rocheport streets.

The caller was able to provide a description of someone leaving the scene.

Authorities have not released the name of the suspect or victim.

Investigators believe this is an isolated incident.

The Sheriff said the suspect may be carrying a handgun and is considered armed and dangerous.
