Former Coach In North Callaway School District Pleading Guilty To Attempted Sexual Contact With Student

A former assistant football and track coach in the North Callaway School District is pleading guilty to attempted sexual contact with a student.

The Callaway County Sheriff’s Office arrested Davonte Kyles in April 2019.

A probable cause statement said Kyles sent inappropriate messages to a child less than 15 years old who was a student at the school.

Kyles pleaded guilty last week and according to court records, officials suspended the execution of the sentence and sentenced him to 2 years of probation.
