Rush Hill Man Arrested In Audrain County On Drug Trafficking Charges

A Rush Hill man is facing drug trafficking charges after taking an Audrain County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit on a chase this afternoon.

It happened in the 1700 block of East Liberty around 2:24 this afternoon, where 57 year old Billy Ray Rodenbaugh failed to stop.

During the pursuit, Rodenbaugh’s vehicle hit a dirt pile at the dead end of Oross Road in Vandiver Village which disabled his vehicle.

Rodenbaugh is said to have fled on foot for a short distance before being arrested.

Deputies say the man attempted to discard controlled substances.

Over one quarter pound of Methamphetamine, multiple capsules containing Heroin and Marijuana packaged for distribution and $405.00 in cash was found.

Rodenbaugh was taken to the Audrain County Jail, formal charges are pending.
