Man Injured In Sturgeon Shooting

The victim of an apparent shooting last (Tuesday) in Sturgeon is in a local hospital.

Boone County Sheriff’s Deputies went to a shots fired call around 6:18 last night outside of the Heuer’s Country Store and Cafe that is permanently closed and located at 15471 Old U.S. 63 in Sturgeon.

One man was shot, and one man taken into custody.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Department there is no current threat to the Sturgeon Community.

The victim taken to a local hospital, and the investigation is continuing.
