Pinnacle Hospital In Boonville With Plans To Reopen

The Pinnacle Hospital in Boonville is announcing it will be able to reopen the facility.

According to a press release yesterday (Thursday), the organization filed for chapter 11 bankruptcy, which allows the company to restructure its debt without having to liquidate assets.

The reorganization will allow Pinnacle to restore all services at its Boonville location.

Pinnacle Regional closed on January 15th, after a routine state inspection found the hospital’s HVAC system was in need of immediate repair and Pinnacle was unable to pay for those repairs.

Pinnacle officials did not say when the hospital would reopen or what the status of former employees would be.

MU Health Care announced yesterday (Thursday) it has hired 3 former Pinnacle Hospital healthcare providers and is working quickly to secure clinic space in Boonville.
