Drug Bust In Adair County

A major drug bust in Kirksville has a Nigerian man facing multiple charges.

Missouri State Highway Patrol served a search warrant on Wednesday morning at the apartment of 21 year old Ifeanyyi Nnaji who was residing in the U.S. on a student visa.

According to a news release officers seized 11 pounds of marijuana, 8 THC vape pen cartridges, about 11 pounds of brownies and gummies in addition to Adderal, Ectasy, Xanax pills,plus psilocybin mushrooms, a handgun and eighty thousand dollars in cash.

He was charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance, 6 counts of felony possession of a controlled substance and felony unlawful use of a weapon.
