Isolation And Quarantine Emergency Training Held In Moberly

A training in Moberly held yesterday is getting leaders prepared in case of an isolation and quarantine emergency because of COVID-19.

The training was held for private and public health officials and focused on preventative measures rural communities can take in the face of medical outbreaks and epidemics.

The corona virus is creating concerns over the nation and people are stocking up on hand sanitizers, groceries and avoiding travel because of the virus.

Audrain County Emergency Management Director Nick Tietsort attended to the meeting.

Public health officials are saying the threat is not as great in rural areas because we do not have as much of a population.

As of now there are no confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Missouri.
