Flyovers In Columbia and Jefferson City to Honor Medical and Healthcare Workers

Several mid-Missouri cities will see flyovers by a B-2 Spirit stealth bomber this evening in honor of medical and healthcare workers and other essential employees and volunteers in the fight against the coronavirus.

The Missouri National Guard is reporting the 131st bomb wing, stationed at Whiteman Air Force Base will conduct flyovers of 6 Missouri cities, including Columbia at 5:43 this evening and Jefferson City at 6pm.

During the flyovers, all residents are encouraged to follow strict social distancing guidelines and refrain from gathering in large viewing groups.
