Employee at Columbia Nursing Home Tests Positive for COVID-19

An employee of a Columbia senior living facility is testing positive for COVID-19.

The Neighborhoods by TigerPlace confirmed the employee that has the coronavirus last worked May 4th, and informed them of the positive test result on May 9th.

The employee is a housekeeper who may have come in contact with up to 17 residents.

The entire community is on in-room quarantine until May 19th.

According to the Neighborhoods no residents or other employees are currently experiencing symptoms, and all residents are being checked for symptoms every 4 hours.
