Columbia Woman Arrested Following Stabbing at Lowe’s

A 19 year old Columbia woman is facing charges after a stabbing in front of Lowe’s yesterday (Tuesday) afternoon.

According to Columbia Police a 43 year old female victim was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was identified as Gentara Bennet.

Officers located Bennett of Sam’s Club at 101 Conley Road.

Officers arrested Bennett for First Degree Assault, Criminal Action and Resisting Arrest.

There is no known connection between Bennett and the victim.
