Joseph Elledge Pleads Not Guilty to Murder Charges of Missing Wife

Joseph Elledge is pleading not guilty in the murder of his wife Mengqi Ji.

His lawyer entered the plea in the Boone County Courthouse yesterday.

His wife was reported missing last October.

Joseph Elledge was named a prime suspect in her disappearance by Boone County Chief Prosecutor in November and later was indicted by a grand jury.

A status hearing for the murder case is now scheduled for June 26th at 1:30pm.
