First COVID-19 Death Reported in Audrain County

The first COVID-19 death in Audrain County is being reported.

The Audrain County Health Department released the information at 3 Monday afternoon and say out of respect for privacy, they will not be releasing any further information regarding the patient.

According to the health department Audrain County has had 89 confirmed cases with 37 active cases, 6 hospitalized, and 52 recoveries.

11 test results are pending.

This brings 4 new cases since the health department last updated numbers on Saturday night.

1,047 county residents have been tested for COVID-19 and 958 of those test results were negative.
