Jefferson City Protest Incidents

Several incidents under investigation in connection near the Capitol protest last night (Monday) in Jefferson City.

The Jefferson City Police say around 4:13 yesterday evening a call was received from a Jefferson City Transit bus driver in the 1200 block of Linden Drive.

The driver said that a window had been shot out by an unknown projectile.

No one on the bus was injured.

At around 6:34 last night a report that a man at Binder Lake had been shot with an unknown projectile.

The juvenile victim suffered an injury to his arm and was able to provide a description of a vehicle leaving the area.

Police say a vehicle matching the description was stopped near the capitol grounds, and a pellet rifle was found in the vehicle and 3 adults and one juvenile were taken into custody.
