Columbia Public Schools Board of Education Unveils Plans For Upcoming Year

The Columbia Public Schools Board of Education unveiled their updated COVID-19 plan for the upcoming school year at a meeting last night (Monday).

The plan gives families a choice of regular, five days a week, in-person learning, or online learning.

Families will make their choice later this month, and will be able to switch at certain checkpoints throughout the year.

For in-person classes, schools would follow social distancing measures that have the same students in the same classroom, day after day, creating a stable group.

They will not leave the classroom and they would also eat in the room.

Guardians will receive an email by June 22nd detailing what in-person and online learning will look like for the 2020-2021 school year.
