Second COVID-19 Case Linked to Memorial Day Parties at Lake of the Ozarks

A new coronavirus case is being linked to Memorial Day weekend parties at the Lake of the Ozarks.

According to health officials in Kansas City an infected resident visited the same bar as a resident of Boone County who previously tested positive.

Videos and pictures on social media show large crowds at the event of mostly young people without masks and not adhering to social distancing guidelines at pools along the central Missouri lake.

Health officials are urging anyone who attended the parties to self-quarantine for 14 days.
