Cold Case Arrest Made in Jefferson City

Jefferson City Police have made an arrest in a 1999 cold case.

Jefferson City and Columbia Police investigators worked with authorities from Jacksonville, Florida and arrested Melissa J. Schafer, yesterday.

Schafer is accused of a stabbing homicide.

Florida investigators tracked Schafer in Jefferson City.
