MU Interim Chancellor Sends Email to International Students

The University of Missouri is addressing international students in regards to the guidelines enforced by the Department of Homeland Security Student and Exchange Visitor Program.

This week, the Department of Homeland Security announced all international students enrolled in universities to use online-only instruction will not be allowed to remain in the United States.

In an email sent out yesterday (Wednesday) MU Interim Chancellor Mun Choi clarified the rule does not apply to students at Mizzou.

Choi said the University has offered a blend of in-person and online classes for the upcoming fall semester, so international students will not need to leave the country.
