Indecent Exposure Incidents On MKT Trail Being Investigated By Columbia Police

Two separate reports of indecent conduct on the MKT Trail are being investigated by Columbia Police.

Both incidents reportedly happened within 15 minutes of each other on Wednesday night, near the 1900 block of Forum, close to the 6.5 mile marker.

One woman says she was jogging and saw a man on a bike with a shirt draped around his neck and his shorts pulled down below his waist.

A second woman told park rangers she was laying on a bench and looked up and saw a man standing a short distance away with a bike, and he was masturbating while staring at her.

Police say they plan to increase patrol on the trail to try and identify the suspect, as well as to prevent other incidents.
