Storm Warning Systems Installed at Mark Twain Lake

Five storm warning systems are now installed at Mark Twain lake.

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources installed the sirens to increase public and visitor safety.

The sirens are located at the Mark Twain State Park Campground, Frank Russell, Indian Creek and Ray Behrens Campgrounds, as well as at the Spalding Recreation Area.

All storm warning systems will be tested on the first Wednesday of each month at 11am by the Marion County 911 Center located in Hannibal.
