Fulton City Council Members Recommend Wearing Masks at Special Meeting

Fulton City Council members are recommending that people wear masks at this time.

A special meeting was held last night (Tuesday) to discuss a possible face covering ordinance.

Fourteen residents spoke out during the first hour of the meeting for public comment.

The comments were split with 7 being for the ordinance and 7 against it.

A professor at Westminster College said the city has to act now.

The council did not take a vote on the ordinance last night, and if they do decide to enact an ordinance requiring face coverings, it could take up to 3 weeks to enforce.
