Missouri With Another Triple Digit Day of COVID-19 Cases

Missouri logging another triple digit day of COVID-19 cases yesterday (Sunday).

According to numbers from the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services the state added 1,218 cases of the coronavirus and 15 deaths.

It marked the sixth day in a row of over 1,000 cases being added in a day.

New cases of the virus were reported in 67 of 117 reporting jurisdictions yesterday (Sunday).

Howard County has seen a 32 percent increase over the past 7 days as its 28 cases grew to 37.

Cooper County’s cases have increased by 24 percent.

The 20-24 age demographic continues to hold most of the state’s cases, with 203 cases added yesterday (Sunday).
