Columbia Police Officer Pleads Not Guilty to Manslaughter

The Columbia Police Officer charged with manslaughter in the death of a 4-year-old girl is pleading not guilty.

According to court records Andria Heese made the plea during a court hearing yesterday (Monday).

Heese is charged with the death of Gabriella Curry’s after she hit the child with her police cruiser outside of Battle High School last year.

Heese has waived her formal arraignment and the next hearing is scheduled for August 17th at the Boone County Courthouse.
