Lawsuit Filed Over Pettis County Face Mask Rule

A lawsuit is now filed against the Pettis County Health Department over a face mask rule.

Eight Pettis County residents filed the lawsuit over the health department order, that went into effect yesterday that requires a face covering in public for all people over the age of 5.

The group is being represented by Stanley Cox, from the Law Offices of Cox and Associates, LLC.

Under the Pettis County Emergency health rule, violators could be fined up to one thousand dollars.
