Eldon Man Charged With First Degree Murder in Hostage Situation

An Eldon man is now charged with First Degree Murder, Burglary, Kidnapping, Domestic Assault and Unlawful use of a weapon for his involvement in a homicide and hostage situation on September 5th near Rocky Mount, Missouri.

57 year old Terry E. Ewens was charged yesterday (Friday) and is currently being held at the Miller County Jail.

During the incident that happened on Emery Road a 71 year old woman was killed and a 51 year old woman and 83 year old man were injured.
