MU Students Face Penalties for COVID-19 Rules Violations

UM System President Mun Choi is announcing student sanctions for violating COVID-19 rules and expectations.

In an email to students, faculty and staff, two Mizzou students face expulsion, three others face suspension, and eleven student organizations are under investigation.

The students are accused of willfully violating the university’s policies regarding COVID-19.

As of September 11th, around 470 student cases have been referred to the Office of Student Conduct and Accountability for possible violations since August 16th.
