The Mexico Bulldogs football team will get to play their first home game of the year on the new turf on the field at Hawthorne Heights when they face the Marshall Owls.
The Bulldogs come into the game 1-1 while the Owls are 1-2.
Kickoff is at 7pm.
In other week 4 matchups in high school football the Centralia Panthers travel to Monroe City for a Clarence Cannon Conference showdown.
Hickman hosts Battle. Rock Bridge is at home against Capital City.
The Hannibal Pirates are on the road at Fulton.
Hallsville goes to Eldon.
Moberly plays Kirksville.
Missouri Military Academy is at home against Mark Twain.
In softball last night (Thursday) the Mexico Lady Bulldogs defeated the Fulton Hornets 6-1.
Abby Oetting had 3 hits and 2 RBI, Abby Bellamy finished with 2 hits, Karlee Sefrit with 3 hits, and Brooke Teel went 2-4.
Jordyn Thurman threw a complete game with 6 strikeouts. Mexico improved their record to 7-4 and play Howell Central at noon today in Jefferson City.
The St. Louis Cardinals lost 5-1 to the Pittsburgh Pirates on the road last night (Thursday).
Cardinals starting pitcher Dakota Hudson left the game after just 2 innings with a mild forearm strain.
The Cardinals were only able to muster 2 hits in the game.
In the NFL last night (Thursday) it was the Cleveland Browns over the Cincinnati Bengals 35-30.
