The St. Louis Cardinals with a 2-1 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates yesterday (Sunday).

Yadier Molina hit a 2 run home run and starting pitcher Jack Flaherty struck out 11.

With the win St. Louis is in 2nd place in the National League Central with just 8 games remaining in the regular season.

The Kansas City Royals fell to the Milwaukee Brewers 5-3.

The Royals will open up a 3 game series with the St. Louis Cardinals at Kauffman Stadium tonight.
