Governor Parson Activates Missouri National Guard

The Missouri national Guard is now activated after Governor Mike Parson signed an Executive Order yesterday afternoon (Thursday).

Parson said the order is a precautionary measure in response to recent instances of civil unrest across the country.

The order also declared that a state of emergency exists in Missouri due to civil unrest and called the Parson-appointed Adjutant General to call into action the Missouri National Guard should the situation require it.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol is also available to be deployed wherever Governor Parson may see fit.
