Missouri Revises Guidelines For Long Term Care Facilities Visits

Missouri is releasing revised guidelines for long term care facilities to resume visits.

Facilities that have not had any COVID-19 cases in staff or residents or those that have not had a facility-acquired case in the past 14 days are able to allow indoor and outdoor visits for residents who do not have COVID-19.

The guidelines specify that five visitors may be designated for each resident with two allowed to be present at any one time by appointment.

Social distancing is to be practiced and proper hand hygiene and face coverings should be used.
