Marshall Public Schools Going to Distance Learning After Increase in Student and Staff Quarantines

The Marshall Public Schools will be transferring to distance learning starting tomorrow (Wednesday).

The decision is being made following a significant increase in the number of quarantines in the student and staff population.

According to Marshall Superintendent Dr. Carol Maher all on-site students will attend in-person school today (Tuesday) and will move to distance learning.

Athletics and activities will stop after Midnight tomorrow night (Wednesday).

The district is hoping to return to school on October 15th as they will continuously assess and monitor the situation with the Saline County Health Department.
