The Mexico Bulldogs girls softball team lost 9-2 to the Battle Spartans at Gallop Field last night (Wednesday).
Abby Oetting and Kierstan Epperson had 1 RBI each.
The Lady Dogs are on the road tonight for an NCMC matchup against the Moberly Spartans at 5pm.
The Community R-6 Lady Trojans softball team will host the Van-Far Indians tonight (Thursday).
The Lady Trojans come in to the game with an 11-4 record.
First pitch is at 5pm.
The St. Louis Cardinals defeated the San Diego Padres 7-4 in game 1 of the National League Wild Card Series yesterday (Wednesday).
It was a 4 run first inning for the Redbirds that included a 2 run homer from Paul Goldschmidt.
2 more runs came in the third with Dylan Carlson’s one-out single, his second hit on a stellar day for the rookie outfielder.
The Cardinals could clinch the best of 3 series today with Adam Wainwright on the mound.
Missouri Head Football Coach Eli Drinkwitz says the SEC is lacking a rule requiring teams to publicly release the number of players who test positive for COVID-19.
Coach Drink made his comments yesterday (Wednesday) during his weekly SEC teleconference.
SEC football teams are currently required to test for the coronavirus 3 times per week, however at this point the teams have been allowed to create their own policies regarding how they release the test results prior to game.
Many teams including the Tigers opponent last week, Alabama have declined to release the number of players and staff members who have tested positive for COVID-19.
