Community R-6 Lady Trojans Explode for Sixteen Runs Against Van-Far in Softball

The Community R-6 Lady Trojans broke out their bats with a 16-2 win over the Van-Far Indians in girls softball last night (Thursday).

Emma Angel drove in runs on a single in the second, single in the third, and a triple in the fourth.

Alexis Welch singled in two runs.

Sarah Angel, Brooklyn Glasgow all contributed triples in the fourth inning, to score six runs.

Emma Angel was the winning pitcher.

Glasgow, Angel, Emmi Johnson, and Alexis Welch all managed multiple hits for Lady Trojans.

Welch, Johnson, Angel, and Glasgow each collected three hits to lead Lady Trojans. Lady Trojans was sure-handed in the field and didn’t commit a single error.

The Lady Trojans racked up 16 hits in the game and improved to 12-4.
